Sorry for my long inactivity.
From the fourth of january on a week long, I was at a Ski-classtrip
to the Zillertal in Austria (you know? It´s pretty popular).
5 days, me, my class and a parallel class were supposed to ski, and at first, I was really sceptical because skiing is known as a hard, exhausting sport - and I am more the comfortably type who does gymnastics and dance xD
But it turned out that it really is a bit exhausting, but it´s much fun (I want to do it again with my family).
So. The whole week, we got best weather, the sun shined and you could see everything clearly without goggles.
But the last day was bad, it snowed - and because of that, you just could recognize the 5 meters in front of you. When you put orange goggles on, you can see a bit more, but not much.
Then, it happened: I was with two classmates (we were in small groups without teachers the last day) on a ski run I wasn´t on before. The classmates told my that it was really easy, and I believed, but I didn´t consider the fresh snow which made skiing even harder. I first thought that the fresh snow would make it easier because you could brake more easily, but it also made my much slower so I couldn´t ski right.
So, I couldn´t drive curves very good, but altough I was better than before, I had an accident.
I stood parallel to the mountain, pushed me with the sticks but I didn´t get speed because of the fresh snow stopping me. But suddenly, I was fast, couldn´t put my weight on my right leg (when you do that, you drive to the left, it was a left curve) and fell. The only thing I know right now is that after my fall, I sat on my ass, the right leg which was full of pain angled and I was screaming and crying.
Two men came and said that they would get help. So I waited with my two classmates. Then, one of the 5 teachers who were on the class trip came and waited with us.
I had so much fear that I would have to walk the ski run down with my poor right leg, but a jetski came. Yes!
Okay, the whole accident was terrible, but riding a jetski was SO MUCH FUN xD The man on the jetski drove so fastly that I had fear of falling of!
Then, another teacher (my former geography teacher) got to the doctor with me where I got a splint on my right knee and crutchies (
). The bad thing was, with the splint, I couldn´t wear my ski trousers. So I had to get the hotel again in ski underwear. Hehe... everything with my teacher. Was a bit
The doctor said that I would have to go to the hospital at home when I´m back in Germany because it was the last day. Things with the knees aren´t like those you have to handle with immediately and the bus tour back was at the next day.
So, I drove back (I wanted a place behind the teachers so that they could help my at once if there was something, but it wasn´t luckily). My dad picked me up at school - I was so happy to see him - and so I got back to my home where my mom waited. Yeah!
It turned out that the thing with the knee isn´t that bad, it is a bone bruise. Yes, really. I couldn´t believe it first, never heard it before. (GER Ein blauer Fleck im Knochen? WTF??) I also have a pulling in the knee.
Right now: I don´t need my black cute crutchies anymore, also the splint. I can walk almost normally and can bend my knee in an angle of 90°. I can almost stretch it out fully.
And I get on bending and training my knee so it is normal again.
So, all in all, the accident and the pain wasn´t funny. But driving with a jetski and discovering a new ski run was GREAT xD wouldn´t wanna miss it! Also the whole class trip!
I also discovered a new pen: ballpoint
. It is amazing to draw realistic with it. Look at my newest picture here:
Hope you like!
Bye, greetings to all of my friends!
